DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES

 Leader:   Caroline Smith, Discipleship & Outreach Pastor

Caroline leads in the areas of education and discipleship development as well as mission education for our church. 

Caroline brings a lot of enthusiasm and good leadership skills to the task.  Caroline grew up in the Baptist church and felt God's call to serve Christ in ministry.  The calling eventually led her to aquire two ministry degrees in preparation for that service.   

Caroline received the Master of Divinity Degree from Truett Seminary to equip her for pastoral ministry and a Masters of Social Work from Baylor University to reach out and work with persons in all kinds of difficult situations. Caroline is a licensed Social Worker and an ordained Baptist minister.

She and her husband Josh have served on the mission field in South Africa with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.  Josh has recently be accepted into the PhD program at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena.

Caroline has felt the leading of the Spirit to learn, grow, and invest herself in the parish ministry. We welcome Caroline.

Please be praying for her as she assumes the task of helping grow our church in discipleship and mission.
