NEW LENTEN DISCIPLESHIP STUDY ON MONDAYS BEGINS FEBRUARY 29!
FBC Glendale will be offering a Lenten Bible study, Encountering the Risen Christ, a study based on Luke 24
and Acts 1, on six Monday evenings at 6:30 pm, starting on February 27, the first day of Lent, and finishing
on Monday, April 2, following Palm Sunday.
This Study will be led by recently new FBC member, Mike McCoy. In addition to being an artist and graphic designer, is also an intensive Bible student and teacher. Mike's previous education as a Christanity major at Southwest Baptist College, Bolivar, Missouri, and at Southwestern Baptist Theoligical Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas gave him a solid foundation in Biblical scholarship.
Later individual study in the writings of Oswald Chambers further deepened his faith and focus on the power
of the Scriptures to open us to the mind of Christ. He and his wife Sharon been an actively involved in
Cooperative Baptist Fellowship churches.
